Brazil have won their first Gold Medal in men's Football at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Playing in front of their home supporters at the legendary Maracanã Stadium, Brazil took the lead thanks to a superb free-kick goal from captain Neymar Jr. on the 27th minute. Germany's equaliser just before the hour sent the game to extra-time and then penalties.
After Nils Petersen missed Germany's fifth spot kick, Neymar coolly scored his penalty, gifting Brazil with a well-deserved win.
